Being in the middle of wild animals guarantees excitement and adventure. You can cover the 10 km long tour, during which you will encounter numerous exotic animal species, in the safari bus. You drive right past antelopes, lions, tigers, giraffes and monkeys. In some areas you are not allowed to leave your vehicle for safety reasons.
It is more idyllic in the petting zoo of the Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen, the largest in Europe by the way. Children can also get to know the Schnucken, geese, ducks, dwarf donkeys and goats from the back of a pony - an absolute must and a special experience for children. Here you nibble, nibble, stroke and fondle. If you have the special feed available in the park ready, you can also feed it. The animals are particularly fond of this and thank you with happy looks - or even persistent begging attempts.
You can get to the world of the apes on foot ... and suddenly you are in the middle of it all, surrounded by our curious and hairy cousins. Over 200 animals, including chimpanzees, monkeys and white-headed macaques, romp around the visitors and give an insight into their social behavior. A special highlight and highly recommended is the feeding of the great apes in the Amboseli great ape reserve. Anyone who has become hungry from monkey food themselves can expect delicious food in the Zanzibar restaurant.
The water world in the Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen awaits you, wet and cheerful, fast-paced and lively. Whether wild water slide, pedal boat or aqua safari, there is something for everyone. The Freefall Tower, the giant ship swing, Enterprise and Condor ensure the desired adrenaline rush for the particularly brave. The leisure world also has over 40 attractions such as the Kumba Twister, high ropes course and elephant flyer. There is a baby park for our little two to four year olds.
