The 700-meter-long treetop path begins on level ground and leads upwards with a gentle slope through pine and spruce forests on the edge of the wildlife park. Enclosures of the Lüneburg Heath Wildlife Park are located beneath the 20 meter high metal and larch wood bridge. This results in exciting views of wolves and big cats. 20 learning stations along the path convey knowledge about nature in the Lüneburg Heath. They are suitable for children as well as adults. Benches on plateaus invite you to take a break. At the end of the path, there are numerous steps or the elevator 20 meters higher to the observation tower.

The 700 meter long path has an average gradient of only 5 percent, which can be overcome effortlessly with a guide. The wooden walkways are non-slip even in wet weather and the railings are designed so that wheelchair users can also enjoy the unobstructed view of nature. If you don't have a companion to help you along the path, you don't have to do without the breathtaking view from the 45 meter high observation tower.
