On the edge of the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve, approx. 30 minutes by car from our Heidehotel, there are very special and rare animals such as snow leopards, arctic foxes, musk oxen, Kodiak bears, mountain goats, elks, lynxes, raccoons, elk, reindeer, arctic wolves, timber wolves and European To experience gray wolves close to nature.

You can see almost all wild animals that have settled in Germany in the Lüneburg Heath Wildlife Park. A total of around 1,000 animals from 120 species make the 60-hectare wildlife park so popular. In addition, animal species from the northern latitudes of Asia and America also live in the wildlife park. The park is also home to a large number of ancient and rare breeds of domestic animals, such as Poitou donkeys or Girgentana goats.

Children especially love the petting zoo, where they can make direct contact with the animals, petting them and feeding them. Ponies and donkeys await the little visitors, as do goats, sheep and alpacas. Contemplative hiking trails and gardens with beautiful flower figures invite you to linger and relax. Play equipment for jumping, swinging and climbing is distributed throughout the Lüneburg Heath Wildlife Park. There is also a wonderful adventure playground that makes every child's heart beat faster and a water playground, which has a large fan base, especially in warm weather.
Embedded in the charming landscape on the edge of the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve, the wildlife park invites you to marvel and relax.
In the Lüneburg Heath Wildlife Park there is plenty of variety and excitement: owls and birds of prey do their laps at the birds of prey flight show, at the wolf enclosure visitors learn a lot about the forefather of dogs, and the tiger lecture focuses on the Siberian tigers Ronja and Alex of interest. There is also a daily feeding of otters (spring to autumn).
For the physical well-being on an eventful day in the Lüneburger Heide wildlife park, there is the cozy ElchLodge, the large log cabin restaurant and a snack bar at the giant playground. In addition, the crêperie is right at the entrance.
